I’m Aniket Patil, an AI & Data Science engineer passionate about making machines see and understand the world. I recently completed my B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science from VIIT, Pune 🎓, and I’m actively seeking roles in deep learning engineering or applied AI research.

Deeply focused on Computer Vision — and currently venturing 🎯 into 3D Computer Vision 🧊. Fascinated by how spatial understanding can unlock entirely new dimensions of perception for AI systems

🏛️ Research Journey

I was a AI Research Intern at IIT Ropar (Jun 2024 – Feb 2025) 📍 under Dr. Sukrit Gupta, working on semi-supervised learning for biomedical image segmentation — tackling the annotation bottleneck in clinical AI using uncertainty estimation on cardiac MRI.

Prior to that, I interned at VIIT’s research lab (May – Aug 2023) 📍 under Dr. Yashwant Ingle, designing lightweight deep learning architectures for skin lesion segmentation on dermoscopic images.

I’ve also published two peer-reviewed papers in Springer 📄 in the domain of skin cancer image analysis.
